This is a photo taken from the doorway on move in day (hence the handtruck and bareness).
My desk collected most of this stuff the first day I moved in, but this photo was taken more recently.

Whoa! The new look is awesome! The big dot in the header is a nice way of navigating back to the home page. It’s nice seeing a non-standard Wordpress design.
I envy you people with your nice lived-in dorms. Your desk looks like a great place to work with all of those books, papers, lights, other desk-appropriate things. My dorm room (well, I’m supposed to call it a house room or something like that) is seriously going to end up looking like a jail cell.
Hey, maybe you can ferment some vegetables that smell good for a full day from dawn in the morning until night!

I didn’t make this theme myself or anything; I got it from the theme browser you showed me and I changed the background color and took off some “DE” thing after the dot. (Germany?)
